Amazon has renewed Transparent for a second season, the company announced today. No surprise there — the show has garnered nearly universal positive regard and will either be a major Emmy contender or the headline of every Emmy-snub article next fall. The next batch of episodes will arrive in 2015, and while Amazon did not specify the exact number of episodes scheduled for this new installment, one can only hope that it’s in the neighborhood of 100; the first season’s ten-episode order was nowhere near enough. Please give us 100 more episodes of Transparent, Amazon. It is only fair.
