It’s been rumored for a while that Bran Stark would not be in the fifth season of Game of Thrones, and now the show’s producers have confirmed that Isaac Hempstead-Wright is joining Hodor on the bench next year. “It made sense to stop [Bran’s story] where we did,” producer David Benioff told Entertainment Weekly. “He’s now entering a training period which is going to take quite some time, much of which isn’t particularly cinematic. So rather than being stuck in a cave for a year, we figured it would be interesting to leave him out for a little bit.” By the time we see him again, Bran will look exactly like John Oliver.
