Great Hera! It appears the rumors were true: TV phenom Michelle MacLaren has reportedly signed on to direct 2017’s Wonder Woman movie. If the name doesn’t ring a bell, her work might: She’s directed some of the best episodes of Breaking Bad (“Gliding Over All,” “One Minute,” and “Salud,” just to name a few) and some top-notch Game of Thrones eps (e.g. “The Bear and the Maiden Fair” and “Second Sons”). MacLaren is, of course, also a woman — meaning the Warner Bros. social-media team can breathe a sigh of relief, safe in the knowledge that they have been spared approximately 8,000,000 angry tweets.
