Aaron Sorkin’s Jobs has already seen David Fincher, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Christian Bale drop out for various reasons, and now Sony has decided to follow in their footsteps. The studio has put the project in turnaround, which means that this is officially the part in the rom-com where Sorkin sits alone crying and listening to Whitney Houston. (Deadline reports Universal is interested.) Maybe if they take off Steve Jobs’s glasses, someone will realize how beautiful this movie has been all along.
