Following earlier vague casting news, HBO is bringing on Ashley Hinshaw as the latest lady to snag a part in True Detective’s second season. Deadline reports that the True Blood actress will be playing out an arc — however long or short — as a “troubled starlet.” The twentysomething joins Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch, Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn, and new addition Rick Springfield somewhere in California.
