Hannibal Buress already has a great recurring role on Broad City as Ilana’s boo/the Al Dente Dentist, but he’s about to fly solo. The Wrap reports that Comedy Central is giving the stand-up comedian his own show. The network has ordered eight episodes of a new series called Why? set to premiere in July. The weekly half-hour show will “follow the comedian as he addresses major cultural issues through stand-up, filmed segments, man-on-the-street interviews and interviews with in-studio guests.” Sounds good! Congrats, Hannibal. Have a few pickle-juice flicks on us.
