The documentary Simpsons co-creator Sam Simon teamed up with Fusion to make last year is set to air one week after his death. According to Deadline, Rebel with a Cause: The Sam Simon Story will debut on Fusion this Sunday on 8:00pm and repeat on the network throughout the following week. “Our hope is to pay tribute to his life and career while also sparking an important conversation about animal rights and empowering young people to be a catalyst for change,” Fuson CEO Isaac Lee said on the project last year. The documentary follows the final months of Simon’s life with colorectal cancer, in which he gave away most of his fortune to animal rights causes – an issue he devoted much of his life to through the Sam Simon Foundation and other philanthropic work.
