‘The Nightly Show’s Mike Yard Goes Full Amish to Avoid the Apple Watch

Here’s a clip from last night’s Nightly Show featuring contributor Mike Yard, whose response to yesterday’s Apple Watch announcement is to go “full Amish” (technically, “full Amish-ish”) to avoid the moral crisis every Apple customer must undergo before buying a new product considering the horrible conditions under which they’re made in China. Yard calls today’s technology the “modern-day cotton,” pointing out that “the same way we’re ignoring how this stuff gets made is the same way a Northerner in the 1850s was feeling about a comfy pair of cotton drawers.”
