David Spade is headed to truTV. THR reports that the network has given an eight-episode series order to Fameless, a “faux-reality improv comedy” also described as “half sketch show, half prank show” executive produced by David Spade. Each episode will follow an improv group paired with one unsuspecting contestant as they take on a different reality show genre like game shows, survival competition shows, and home makeovers to examine the lengths each contestant is willing to go for fame. Fameless joins a growing list of original comedy projects at truTV including a workplace comedy starring Shaq, a new season of Billy on the Street, and Adam Conover’s Adam Ruins Everything.
