What is going on with One Direction right now? The guys are currently on tour in Australia and Asia, but it seems there’s a bit of trouble in paradise … First, the Philippines’ Immigration Bureau requested that Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson pay $5,000 bonds before their upcoming concert in Manila due to their history with drugs (the two were previously caught smoking weed on video). Now it appears Zayn won’t even make it to Manila. According to the group’s publicist, he’s leaving the tour indefinitely:
Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta.
Recently, the 1D singer has come under fire for photographs that suggested he might be cheating on his fiancée, Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards, which Zayn already denied on Twitter. It’s not exactly a secret that “stress” is common industry code for “drug stuff,” but hopefully that’s not the case here. Travel can also be quite stressful. Get well soon, Zayn!
