Bob Odenkirk and David Cross have signed a deal with Netflix to create new sketch series. 20 years after the premiere of the seminal Mr. Show, With Bob and David will feature “four half-hours of brand new comedy featuring all new characters, all new scenes, and most importantly, all new wigs.” There have been a lot of rumors of a new project from these two for a while now, especially after Mr. Show vet Paul F. Tompkins tweeted a picture of the old gang back together on New Year’s Eve last year. No premiere date has been set, as production has just started up. It’s like someone heard there was a comedy boom going on, one in which Mr. Show is considered sacred.
