The first look at Jared Leto’s Joker transformation was neat because it was a throwback-homage sort of thing. Visually, though, it was obscure. We didn’t get the full green-hair-with-discolored-skin-and-lips effect. Fortunately, Leto had another transformation update for impatient Suicide Squad fans Thursday, and it’s clearer and creepier. It’s a snap, and it actually kind of looks like a snap the Joker would send someone. The only thing that’s missing is a caption that says, “smile hehe lol [painted-nail emoji x 5].” Next time, maybe.
