Adam and Naomi Scott Would Rather Be in Bed Watching The Bachelorette Than Go to That Party

In the trailer for The Overnight, Taylor Schilling’s character tells her husband, played by Adam Scott, that they should maybe leave before anything crazy happens. Oops! It did however get us to thinking about how to make a swift exit from an awkward party, or when, you know, you just want to go home and watch Game of Thrones (Okay, The Bachelorette). Vulture caught up with Adam and Naomi Scott at the New York premiere of The Overnight on Thursday to ask them if they had any tips on exiting a party early:

Naomi Scott: We have it down to a look now, I think.
Adam Scott: I never want to stay past, like, minute three. Pretty much, right?
NS: We give a hostess gift or a host gift. We cruise around once or twice.
AS: And then it’s just like [looks at her], “Ready to go home and watch Game of Thrones? Let’s go!”
NS: Or The Bachelorette, let’s be honest.
AS: You can bet that it’s usually time to go — for me, anyway. Like, on the way over here, I was already thinking, What’s the least amount of time we can stay at the after-party tonight?
NS: For our own movie.
AS: Yeah. What is rude? What is right above the rude threshold? And then we can go.

What are you gonna go home and watch in your hotel, then?
AS: Man, you know, what is there?
NS: We were talking about this. We were hoping Think Like a Man Too was gonna be …
AS: … on the pay-per-view.

Okay, bye, guys.
