Game of Thrones' Missing Characters

1 of 9

Balon Greyjoy

One of three kings named by Melisandre during a blood-magic ritual that was supposed to ensure his death. His lack of visibility on the Iron Islands has caused speculation as to his whereabouts and concern over his lack of supervision, especially on bridges during stormy weather. If seen, please notify his brothers Victarian, Euron, and Aeron Damphair.

Benjen Stark

Former first ranger of the Night's Watch, who has not returned after a ranging (in which he was seeking to find someone else who had not returned after a ranging). Two of the men who had accompanied him were found dead, and later reanimated as wights, before being killed (again) and their bodies burned. White Walkers have not yet responded to requests for comment.

Bran Stark

Last seen north of the Wall, in the custody of a mysterious man with multiple aliases (the Three-Eyed Raven, The Last Greenseer, Brynden) who seems to live in and be part of a tree at the same time. Family servant Hodor, Stark ally Meera Reed, and direwolf Summer may also be on the premises, along with a diminutive creature named Leaf, one of the Children of the Forest. Bran is unable to walk, but he might be able to fly.

Brynden Tully

A.k.a. the Blackfish. Escaped the Red Wedding during a bathroom break. Suspected of making his way to Riverrun, but no arrival confirmed. Walder Frey describes him as "an old man, on the run, with no allies" — which would sound like concern if we didn't know him better.

Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey

Newlyweds who disappeared in the aftermath of their "Red Wedding." Given Edmure's status as both the heir of Riverrun and Walder Frey's son-in-law, it's likely he survived the massacre. Neighbors have reported screams from someone who sounds like him coming from the Twins' dungeons. Roslin, in the meantime, has not been seen outside of her bridal chamber. Offspring of their union remain unconfirmed.

Nymeria

Sister of Ghost, Shaggydog, and Summer. Dismissed by her former human, Arya Stark. Could be leading a non-direwolf-centric wolfpack in the wild. Has a tendency to hunt around riverbeds and poke dead bodies. If found, please return to any member of the Stark family, dead or alive.

Rickon Stark

Answers to the nickname "little lord." Last known destination was the Last Hearth, close to the Gift; Stark bannerman Greatjon Umber has yet to confirm arrival. Also rumored to have gone to the island of Skagos, but given rampant rumors about Skagos itself (unicorns!), this remains unclear. Beware of wildling governess Osha and overly protective direwolf Shaggydog when approaching.

Yara Greyjoy

Last seen aborting a rescue mission for her younger brother Theon/Reek. As Theon is dead both to her (for thwarting his own rescue) and her father (for missing a crucial body part), she might be heir to the Iron Islands, but an actual ceremony to determine this may be required.
