Neil deGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist and host of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, is a well-known Star Trek fan. You might even go so far as to call him a Trekkie. That allegiance has also made him a pretty big Star Wars hater. “I never got into Star Wars. Maybe because they made no attempt to portray real physics. At all,” he once told Business Insider. So imagine deGrasse Tyson’s probable shock when one lowly Star Wars: Rogue One writer, Chris Weitz, waved the white flag and tweeted him for help with an astronomy question. More than just help, he requested an actual miracle — or, as he calls it, a “twitter hail mary.”

DeGrasse Tyson doesn’t appear to have publicly responded to Weitz’s tweet just yet, so we’ll just give the frustrated screenwriter three words of advice: “zero-G hair.”
