If You’re a Student, Jay Z Will Let You Listen to Lil Wayne’s New Song (and More!) on Tidal for Less Money

Thank you, Hov.

Tidal might not have Sony all the way onboard just yet, but it does have Lil Wayne! The streaming platform made a few announcements on Wednesday, the biggest being that if you’re a student (or know someone with a valid .edu email address), you can now subscribe to Tidal for half the price — including its premium HiFi service. Tidal also has a fancy new desktop app for Windows and Mac OS X, along with a new mobile app redesign. You’ll even be able to purchase concert tickets through Tidal, thanks to a deal with Ticketmaster. But if none of that’s attention-grabbing enough, Tidal has also added Lil Wayne to its roster, premiering a pretty monstrous new song called “Glory” (possibly off his upcoming Free Weezy Album, and hilariously still under Cash Money Records) on Tidal (or here). Drake, who?
