Get ready for more Amy Poehler on the big screen. According to Variety, Poehler has signed on to star in and produce a comedy for Universal called Balls through her production company Paper Kite, which will center on Poehler as “a once-promising basketball coach who is asked to lead an NBA team.” The Mindy Project’s Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen will co-write the script, and Barinholtz will also appear in the film. Poehler most recently starred in the Pixar film Inside Out and will be next seen alongside Tina Fey in Paula Pell’s film Sisters. She’s currently working on her next film The House with Will Ferrell.
