Original Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd will have at least one scene in Paul Feig’s all-female reboot of the franchise, Entertainment Weekly reports. Aykroyd initially announced his participation in a couple of Tuesday evening social-media posts that were quickly taken down soon after publishing. “On GB set shooting my scene with funny beautiful Kristen Wiig Lady GB’S are adorable, hilarious and badass Exhilarating,” he reportedly wrote, tacking on the hashtag #ghostbusters. It’s unclear at the moment if Aykroyd will reprise his role as Dr. Raymond Stantz; the Wrap has cited a report that says the actor will cameo as a (as-of-now-unidentified) cab driver “who shares a scene with Kristen Wiig and utters a famous line from the first film’s theme song.” (Which sounds cute as hell.) It’s also unclear if Aykroyd’s award-winning Crystal Head Vodka will join him for a cameo in the movie … but probably. Find out July 22, 2016.
