Bryan Cranston and James Franco are teaming up on the big screen. The Wrap reports that both have signed on to star in Why Him?, which centers on a midwestern dad (Cranston) who visits his daughter at college “only to find himself in conflict with her tech billionaire boyfriend (Franco).” John Hamburg (New Girl, I Love You, Man) will direct, while Shawn Levy will produce alongside Ben Stiller and Red Hour Films. Cranston and Franco will first be seen in theaters together in In Dubious Battle, which Franco also produced and directed.
