Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld Launched a New Podcast Network Called HeadGum

Say hello to the latest podcast network: HeadGum. Founded by longtime CollegeHumor writer/performers Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld, the network launched today with new podcasts hosted by Hurwitz, Blumenfeld, Josh Ruben, Streeter Seidell, and more. “All we care about is cash, really, but making podcasts with our friends and family is fun too,” Jake and Amir told us on the news. “So we’re excited to be doing that!” Here’s a roundup of the podcasts currently on the site:

If I Were You - Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld offer up advice in areas they’re qualified to talk about. Also in areas they’re not qualified to talk about. The Mindhouse Podcast - Great guests and funny voices with Josh Ruben (CollegeHumor, Josh & Vince, The Woodstock Comedy Festival). The Mindhouse is kind of like “WTF” but far less articulate. New episodes every Tuesday! Gilmore Guys - Do you awaken in a cold sweat every night, fearing that two men will never start a podcast on Gilmore Girls? Kiss your night terrors GOODBYE. Veteran fan Kevin T. Porter and newcomer Demi Adejuyigbe go deep into Gilmore Girls episode by episode with special guests to analyze, praise, mock, and gab like gals about all things Stars Hollow and beyond. Seriously, these dudes are SUPER into Gilmore Girls. Talk of Shame - Embarrassing Stories from Embarrassed Guests, Hosted by Streeter Seidell. That Was Us - Every episode, a guest joins Julia Nunes and reads an embarrassing/exposing example of who they used to be. Black Men Can’t Jump - Jonathan Braylock, James III, and Jerah Milligan review major motion pictures with black leading actors. Twinnovation - A podcast for the schemers and dreamers. Identical twins Dave and Jeff Rosenberg, along with host Mike Karnell come up with true hustles and make billions so you don’t have to. High & Mighty - Jon Gabrus’ interests are all over the place…and so is this podcast. He interviews friends and celebrities, some who are both. About the kind of stupid stuff that a nerd/meathead/manchild would be into. Tangents are not only allowed, they are encouraged. This Is Why You’re Single - Creators of the upcoming humor and advice book, Laura Lane and Angela Spera candidly breakdown real-life dating disasters with a new “reason why you’re single” every week. Coupla Questions - Dannielle & Claire take you on a journey of the heart as they interview their favorite couples about how they fell in love and stayed in love. The Easy Chair - Author Laura Hurwitz reads you a story, continued week to week.
