Christopher Guest is currently working on his next film Mascots for Netflix, and it looks like we can expect most of his frequent collaborators to appear in the movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jane Lynch, Bob Balaban, Jennifer Coolidge, Parker Posey, and John Michael Higgins are all “in various stages of negotiations” to star, while newcomer Chris O’Dowd is also in talks to join the cast. Sadly, Christopher Guest movie regulars Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy are not yet attached to appear in Mascots possibly due to scheduling conflicts with their CBC comedy series Schitt’s Creek.
