Chelsea, Rosie O’Donnell’s adopted teenage daughter who was reported missing earlier today, has been found, according to the comedian as well as multiple reports. O’Donnell announced the news via Twitter on Tuesday evening, stating that her 17-year-old was safe in police custody. Chelsea, who reportedly lives with mental illness and was in need of medical attention, was said to have gone missing in Nyack, New York, last week. TMZ reports that Chelsea and her dog were found in the town of Barnegat Light, New Jersey — around 130 miles south of O’Donnell’s Rockland County, New York home — after authorities pinged her cell phone. “Rosie wants to thank everyone for their help,” O’Donnell’s rep said in a statement released to NBC News on Tuesday, “especially the South Nyack, NY and Barnegat Light, NJ police departments.”
