The Weeknd has had a pretty crazy 12-month run, amassing a string of hits (including his first No. 1 song, “Can’t Feel My Face,” earlier this year) and collaborating with artists of varying stature and style, from pinup-girl-by-way-of–David Lynch Lana Del Rey and that doughnut-hating feline Ariana Grande to Kanye West and Max Martin. Yesterday on SoundCloud, he released an 18-minute preview of his upcoming album Beauty Behind the Madness, taking a sliver of each song and amalgamating them into a sampler called “The Leak.” The album drops on August 28.
