The villain in the upcoming Lego Batman movie starring Will Arnett has found its villain. According to THR, Zach Galifianakis has signed on to play the Joker in the animated spin-off of Chris Lord and Phil Lord’s 2014 film Lego Movie. Galifianakis joins Arnett and Michael Cera, who signed on to play Robin last month.
Galifianakis was next set to hit the big screen in Masterminds with Kristen Wiig, but the film’s release is currently postponed due to Relativity filing for bankruptcy. He also has an FX show in the works with Louis C.K. called Baskets, which got a series order last year.
