As tension regarding refugees and immigration in Europe rises, a hit anti-Nazi punk song from the ‘90s has unexpectedly resurfaced in Germany. According to the Washington Post, the song “Cry for Love,” by the German band Die Ärzte, has topped the downloaded charts on Amazon, Google Play, and iTunes, following a grassroots promotional campaign by a German music teacher worried about growing xenophobia in his country.
