A Lucille Ball biopic is in the works with some big names attached. According to The Wrap, Cate Blanchett has signed on to star in an authorized biopic of Ball, and Aaron Sorkin will write the script. Co-produced by Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr., the film follows Ball’s 20-year marriage to Desi Arnaz and starring role on I Love Lucy. Lee Daniels’s Richard Pryor biopic starring Mike Epps is also moving forward with Eddie Murphy, Oprah Winfrey, and Kate Hudson attached to star.
