Disclosure have released half of the songs from their sophomore album, Caracal, before its Friday release. But they’ve kept the album’s highest-profile collaborations — including the Weeknd and Miguel — close to the chest. Today the duo unveiled its buzziest track, “Magnets,” featuring Lorde (her first new song since last year’s “Yellow Flicker Beat”), on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show. It’s a club scorcher in the vein of “Omen,” told from the perspective of a barely legal woman indulging in some late-night seduction. Yep, Lorde just overshadowed Disclosure on their own album with a risqué song in praise of sexual agency. [Applause.]
