John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen have a new show in the works at ABC. According to Deadline, the network has given a put pilot commitment to a single-cam romantic comedy called Ordinary People loosely based on Teigen and Legend’s relationship, which will center on “an interracial couple with very different personalities and big ambitions” and include musical elements. Teigen and Legend will co-executive produce the series with Blackish creator Kenya Barris, and Tracy Oliver (Survivor’s Remorse, Barbershop 3) will write the script.
