Last night Kendrick unleashed a medley of To Pimp a Butterfly songs — “Wesley’s Theory,” “Momma,” “King Kunta,” and “u” — in a purposefully stilted set that reimagined his hits with relentless force; it felt like one long, beautifully tragic poem, a veritable doozy.
