Rob Schneider has found a home for his self-financed autobiographical sitcom Real Rob – not to be confused with his previous autobiographical sitcom Rob formerly known as ¡Rob!. According to THR, Netflix has ordered eight episodes of the series, which is described as “an exaggerated yet brutally honest depiction of Schneider’s real life” as he navigates “the ups and downs of a Hollywood career, his family life, ever-present stalker, and his completely incompetent assistant.” Schneider will also produce and direct the series, and Norm Macdonald and George Lopez will make guest appearances. Real Rob will make its Netflix debut on December 1st.
