Today she picked up an early Emmy for Original Interactive Program for her AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience, which let fans explore her “Blank Space” video set from every 360-degree angle they could ever want. The twist: She had no clue she won. The Hollywood Reporter tweeted out the news earlier, and that’s apparently how she found out:
Taylor, as you may know, is already a seven-time Grammy winner. With this Emmy now added to her Tribeca penthouse décor, that officially puts her in the running for a coveted EGOT — all she needs now is an Oscar and a Tony. Getting her a nominated song on someone’s soundtrack should be a breeze (is Lorde down to curate Mockingjay — Part 2?). But if Taylor’s short on Broadway “friends,” we’re sure the Tonys can make a special exception for her insanely theatrical 1989 tour.
