Amy Schumer is headed to the big screen again…in 2017. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Schumer’s next movie Mother/Daughter has been given an official release date of May 12, 2017. Warm Bodies’ Jonathan Levine will direct the film, which is based on a screenplay by Ghostbusters and The Heat’s Katie Dippold that Schumer and her sister Kim Caramele reworked to “put the main character in Schumer’s voice.” In the meantime, it looks like we don’t have to worry about Schumer ending her Comedy Central show anytime soon – she revealed on Twitter last week that at least two more seasons of Inside Amy Schumer are on the way.
