Christina Applegate, Mila Kunis, and Kristen Bell are teaming up for a new movie in the works by Hangover writers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the three have signed on to star in the untitled film, which was previously called Bad Moms and had Leslie Mann onboard to star and Judd Apatow attached as producer. Lucas and Moore are still attached to direct the revamped version. Here’s the logline, via THR:
The story centers on an overachieving mother with a seemingly perfect life whose stress lines are one bad day from cracking. Fed up, she joins two other overstressed mothers, leading them on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities, which includes going on a wild un-mom-like binge of freedom, fun and self-indulgence. The course of action lands them on a collision course with the PTA Queen Bee and her blindly devoted clique of “perfect” moms.
Mann and Apatow left the project in June due to scheduling conflicts.
