At the end of an emotionally fueled performance at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday night, Gwen Stefani unveiled a new ballad as an encore. Titled “Used to Love You,” the song veers toward Stefani’s more mellifluous, sentimental fare, and, for some fans, might bring to mind the singer’s recent Gavin Rossdale split. “Never thought this would happen — gotta let it sink in,” she croons. “You’re gone.” The heartrending track, her latest single, should be available this coming week, according to Paper.
