Things are getting pretty serious with Casual: Hulu has renewed Zander Lehmann and Jason Reitman’s sadcom for a second season. (The show is currently four episodes into its first season.) Casual follows a dysfunctional family of three — Michaela Watkins stars as a recently separated therapist Valerie, who lives with her teenage daughter, Laura (Tara Lynne Barr), and her brother, Alex (Tommy Dewey), a dating-site Lothario. As you might expect, there are too many parental issues, boundary issues, relationship issues, and emotional issues to resolve in one season alone.
