Hulu’s freshman comedy Casual just got a second season renewal. The streaming network announced today that Jason Reitman’s series starring Michaela Watkins, Tommy Dewey, Tara Lynne Barr, and Nyasha Hatendi has been officially renewed for a 13-episode second season. Hulu is currently releasing one episode of Casual’s debut 10-episode season per week, and there are still six more episodes to be released. “The Casual family came together quickly and bonded in a very real way both on screen and off,” Reitman said on the news. “We’re all thrilled to see more of each other and continue building upon the adventures of Alex and Valerie as they attempt real adult relationships.” For more on the series, check out our interview with Michaela Watkins here.
