Kill Rock Stars to Release Debut Comedy Albums by Ian Karmel and Emily Heller Next Month

Standups Ian Karmel and Emily Heller have brand new comedy albums coming out next month through Kill Rock Stars. Karmel’s album 9.2 on Pitchfork was recorded in Portland and “finds Ian waxing poetic about reviving Pimp My Ride, his differences with Harry Styles, being Jewish (but atheist) and other hilarious anecdotes,” while Heller’s album Good For Her was filmed at Brooklyn’s Union Hall and is “a ride through her awkward teenage years in San Francisco, misadventures in housesitting, being single, her love of hip-hop and more.” Both albums are available Friday, November 13th and are available for pre-order at the Kill Rock Stars website.
