HBO’s Scientology exposé Going Clear left out a lot of things, including the story of Leah Remini, one of Scientology’s most recognizable faces up until she left the church in 2013. Now the King of Queens star is going public about her post-Scientology life in a new memoir, out next month, about what she’s faced since exiting the church. In a clip from a new interview with ABC News, Remini also explains why Scientology makes everyone so afraid to speak negatively of Tom Cruise, the church’s biggest star: “Being critical of Tom Cruise is being critical of Scientology itself.
