Taylor Swift has never appeared on The Daily Show (though Jon Stewart did sing “Teardrops on My Guitar” in an interview once), but thanks to Ryan Adams, her songs now have. Trevor Noah picked Adams for his first musical guest, and the Swift superfan ran through a few songs from his completely unironic 1989 cover album on last night’s show.
