It’s funny to think back on all the myths we used to believe before Mythbusters premiered on the Discovery Channel: that it’s safe to ride a motorcycle on water, that you can build a parachute out of materials in a hotel room, that it’s possible to drop a car out of a helicopter, and I don’t remember what happened after that, but believe me, whatever myth they were testing got busted. After 13 years on the air, co-host Adam Savage is saying good-bye by live-tweeting his last day of filming, taking fans on one final trip behind the scenes. I guess, from now on, if someone stumbles upon a myth, we’re all just going to have to believe it. Dear god, it’s going to be a massacre.
