According to Suicide Squad producer Charles Roven, Jared Leto’s process of getting into character as the Joker — which the actor says was “very painful, like giving birth out of my prick hole” — wasn’t limited to method-y stunts like giving Margot Robbie a pet rat. He also wanted to be called “Mr. J” every time he was called to the set, which, all right, can’t argue with him there. That’s a pretty sweet nickname! “It was very entertaining,” Roven tells Collider of Leto’s antics. “It was fuel for a lot of good sport and a lot of laughs.” Speaking of good sport and a lot of laughs, Roven also revealed that, like the rest of DC’s superhero lineup, Suicide Squad will be rated PG-13, so rest assured, this Joker’s particular brand of psychosis will be fun for the whole family.
