Lego Movie duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller have yet another comedy in development. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lord and Miller have teamed up with Dirty Grandpa writer John Phillips to develop a workplace comedy for NBC. The untitled series centers on “a brother and sister duo, desperate to pay off their student loans and start their ‘real’ lives, who illegally use their access to law enforcement information at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office to start a private detective agency right under the noses of their bosses and solve the cases that fall in between the cracks.” Phillips will write and co-executive produce alongside Lord and Miller, who currently have a pile of TV shows in development like a time travel comedy for Fox, TV adaptation of Serial, and hybrid animated/live-action comedy Son of Zorn.
