Back in July, Amazon ordered a pilot from Louis C.K. and Diablo Cody starring Tig Notaro, and today the pilot is finally available to view on Amazon’s website for free. Titled One Mississippi, the series stars Tig “as she navigates a complex re-entry into her childhood hometown in Mississippi, to deal with the unexpected death of her much loved mother. Reeling from her own recently declining health, Tig struggles to find her footing with the loss of the one person who actually understood her.” Like past Amazon series such as Transparent, the streaming network will order a full season of the show based on views and feedback, and it’s already getting great reviews.
