People often say that being uncomfortable – in social situations, in one’s own skin, on the planet earth – is where great comedy truly begins. We agree! In this spirit, we teamed up with Splitsider pal Katla McGlynn and wrangled Dan Harmon to shoot an interview promoting his new live-action animated role-playing show, HarmonQuest. Our ultimate goal? To make Dan supremely uncomfortable.
We shot the interview in a walk-in cooler, had him sit on a beer keg for an inordinately long period of time, and asked him some, well, uncomfortable questions. What followed was a series of awkward pauses, bizarre confessions, and a lot of fun. Watch to find out which tattoo Dan would get (and where he would get it), whether he believes in his own hype, and how Dan wrote the best Oscars ever.
