Whitney Cummings makes her HBO standup special debut early next year. The pay network announced today that Cummings’s hourlong standup special I’m Your Girlfriend is set to premiere on Saturday, January 23rd at 10:00pm. The special was taped at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica and was ordered by HBO in April along with an HBO pilot starring Cummings based on Maureen Dowd’s 2005 book Are Men Necessary? When Sexes Collide.
