Word on the streets (and by “streets,” we mean the glossy pages of Us Weekly) is that Beyoncé has been taking acting classes in New York and L.A. to further her acting career. Beyoncé’s no stranger to film, as she earned a Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Golden Globe nod for her role in Dreamgirls, but she’s looking to do something a little less musical. Bey is holding out for an iconic, dramatic role “that’s socially relevant to African American rights,” a source says. Until then? Beyoncé will likely be playing the mirror game with someone she sort of recognizes from an episode of Law & Order: SVU who can’t help but hyperventilate while texting her friends, “OMG Beyoncé is in my acting class ~dies~.”
