It’s obvious now why Amazon ordered a second season of Man in the High Castle as quickly as it did. (Besides wanting to know how the man got up there, of course. And why is the castle so high? I haven’t seen one second of this show.) Amazon Studios announced that the dark alternate history drama has broken their previous original-programming streaming record set by the drama Bosch, though they declined to release the show’s specific numbers. All of which means that fans of Amazon’s other programs need to step up their games right quick. I stream Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street on all my co-workers’ computers all night, every night, so I am doing more than my fair share. When it comes to my Gort, I come to win.
