If you’ve seen The Force Awakens, then you know Kylo Ren is repping the dark side of the Force. But what you might not know is that he turned to the dark side as a high-school junior in Mishawaka, Indiana. While attending Mishawaka High School, Adam Driver seems to have been interviewed by the South Bend Tribune where he balked at having to pay 50 cents extra for mayonnaise packets at lunch. Can you imagine buying a sub sandwich, wanting mayo, and then having to pay 50 goddamn extra cents? Is it any wonder Driver embraced the dark side and was reborn as Kylo Ren? Here’s hoping he finally gets some free mayonnaise in Episode VIII.
