In the easiest decision since whether you should treat yourself with that cocktail after work, NBC has renewed The Ellen DeGeneres Show, or what we the people simply call Ellen. The daytime talk show has been going strong for 13 years now, and will continue on for at least four more, until the summer of 2020, when the contract will be up again. “For more than a decade, Ellen has anchored the daytime lineups of the NBC-owned stations, offering our viewers a great afternoon show, delivering a strong lead in for our early evening newscasts and helping to launch new hits,” NBC said through a statement.
