Mike Schur’s in-the-works NBC comedy just added its lead cast members. According to Deadline, Kristen Bell and Ted Danson have signed on to star in Good Place, which earned a straight-to-series, 13-episode order back in August. Bell will play a woman named Elenator “who comes to realize that she hasn’t been a very good person. She decides to turn over a new leaf by learning what it actually means to be ‘good’ or ‘bad,’ and then trying to make up for her past behavior.” Meanwhile, Danson will play Michael, “who, through an unlikely set of circumstances, comes to be Eleanor’s guide through her self-designed self-improvement course.”
